Description
The mountains have always been my home. I grew up in the Zermatt valley, where I discovered my passion for guiding and first set out on the path to becoming a mountain guide. Later, life took me across the ocean to Canada, where I spent years guiding out of Revelstoke, surrounded by the wild beauty of British Columbia. Yet every summer I was drawn back to Switzerland — to Grindelwald. For more than 35 years now, I’ve been living and guiding here, sharing my love for these peaks with guests from all over the world. Grindelwald and the Valais are places that never cease to inspire me. Whether in the snowy silence of winter or the sunlit heights of summer, they are landscapes I’m grateful to call both my workplace and my passion.
