Explore Saas-Fee's mountains in the summer

Saas-Fee sits at 1,800m and is surrounded by a horseshoe of glaciers and 13 peaks above 4,000m, including the Dom, the highest peak entirely on Swiss soil. There is a range of objectives here for most levels. Those earlier in their journey can get onto the glacier, learn the basics of mountain travel, and work towards accessible 4,000m objectives, while more experienced alpinists will find technical routes and serious ridge objectives within reach. The high altitude and glacier coverage also means the season runs reliably well into the autumn. Most objectives are accessible in one or two days directly from the village, with lift infrastructure cutting down the approach considerably. Conditions vary, but the concentration of terrain here means your guide can always find the right objective for the day. Explore our tours and get in touch to start planning your summer in Saas-Fee.
