About the Allalinhorn

The Allalinhorn (4,027m) is one of the most popular 4,000m peaks in the Alps. It's a high-alpine glacier experience with a rewarding summit and panoramic views of several 4,000m peaks.

The Metro Alpin underground funicular whisks you to 3,456m at Mittelallalin, from where you begin the ascent across the Fee Glacier. You will gain approximately 570 vertical metres on glacier and snow terrain before reaching the summit at 4,027m — a more committing climb than the easiest 4,000m peaks, with a real sense of mountaineering achievement.

The summit rewards you with 360° views of the Dom, Täschhorn, Weissmies, Monte Rosa massif, and the surrounding Valais 4,000m peaks. Your IFMGA-certified guide will cover essential glacier travel, crampon and ice-axe technique, crevasse awareness, and roped travel throughout the day.

The Allalinhorn is climbable in summer on foot and in winter and spring as a ski mountaineering tour.
